A single round for 2017 as part of IW Cycle Fest - multiple laps of an accessible XC course -

OVERVIEW

WHAT IS IT?

Run on an evening, the SpyVelo MTB Cup is a short track mountain biking event, suitable for novices through to experienced racers. With a short, accessible XC course, and post event BBQ and refreshments, the SpyVelo MTB Cup is open to all!

Racing is multi-lap format and will last approximately 40 minutes (15 minutes for the Kids Cup races).

WHERE IS IT?

Held at Shorwell's Cheverton Farm. The purpose-built MTB course is mixed terrain, and suitable for all mountain bikes and rider abilities.

There is excellent access to the venue via chalk roadway, ample parking, and there will also be hot and cold drinks available, as well as snacks.

Spectators are VERY welcome!

How to get to Cheverton Farm

By Road: Cheverton Farm is approximately 1 mile from Shorwell on the Bowcombe Road (the road between Carisbrooke and Shorwell). As you approach the top of Cheverton Shute, you will see event signage. Please follow all instructions issued by the marshals and follow event signage to ensure an efficient traffic flow in and out of the site.
Coming from the mainland? No problem. Red Funnel operate a vehicle ferry service from Southampton, and Wightlink offer vehicle ferry services from Portsmouth and Lymington.
